- 4 large eggs
- 2 slices of bacon cooked until crispy and crumbled
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese optional, cheddar or mozzarella
- Fresh herbs for garnish optional, such as parsley or chives
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Pour in the eggs and cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and cheese (if using) over one half of the omelette.
Flip the other half of the omelette over the filling and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
