Ingredients
  

For the Tuna

  • 2 tuna steaks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

For the Salad

  • 2 ripe avocados sliced
  • 4 cups mixed greens lettuce, spinach, arugula
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced

For the Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Brush the tuna steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the tuna for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare or to your desired doneness. Let it rest and then slice.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, avocado slices, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper to prepare the dressing.
  • Arrange the grilled tuna slices on top of the salad and drizzle with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately.
