Grilled Tuna and Avocado Salad

For the Tuna
- 2 tuna steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
For the Salad
- 2 ripe avocados sliced
- 4 cups mixed greens lettuce, spinach, arugula
- 1 cucumber sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
For the Dressing
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Brush the tuna steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the tuna for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare or to your desired doneness. Let it rest and then slice.
In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, avocado slices, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper to prepare the dressing.
Arrange the grilled tuna slices on top of the salad and drizzle with the dressing.
Serve immediately.
