Lemon and Mint Sorbet

A refreshing and zesty sorbet made with fresh lemon and mint, perfect for a light and cooling dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 ml fresh lemon juice about 4-5 lemons
  • 150 ml water
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 10 fresh mint leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely to create a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Once cooled, mix the simple syrup with lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped mint leaves. Stir well to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 1 hour.
  • Remove from the freezer and stir vigorously with a fork to break up ice crystals. Repeat this process every 30 minutes for 4 hours, or until the sorbet has a smooth texture.
  • Scoop into bowls or glasses and serve immediately for a refreshing treat.
