Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil plus extra for drizzling
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, mozzarella, and chopped basil. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Spread the tomato mixture on the toasted baguette slices.
  • Optionally, drizzle with balsamic vinegar for added flavor.
