
Homemade Tomato and Mozzarella Bruschetta
A fresh and vibrant appetizer with crispy baguette slices topped with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, drizzled with olive oil.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette sliced
- 2 large tomatoes diced
- 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil plus extra for drizzling
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, mozzarella, and chopped basil. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
- Spread the tomato mixture on the toasted baguette slices.
