Homemade Tomato and Mozzarella Bruschetta
A fresh and vibrant appetizer with crispy baguette slices topped with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, drizzled with olive oil.

- 1 baguette sliced
- 2 large tomatoes diced
- 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil plus extra for drizzling
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar optional
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, mozzarella, and chopped basil. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
Spread the tomato mixture on the toasted baguette slices.
Optionally, drizzle with balsamic vinegar for added flavor.
Serve immediately as an appetizer or snack.
