
Keto Cauliflower Pizza Crust
A delicious and low-carb cauliflower crust, perfect for keto diets, topped with your favorite pizza ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower riced (about 3 cups)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
- Fresh basil for garnish optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Rice the cauliflower by pulsing florets in a food processor until fine and rice-like.
- Steam or microwave the cauliflower rice for 3-4 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
- Place the cauliflower rice in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Transfer the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and shape it into a pizza crust.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the crust.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
