Keto Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium cauliflower riced (about 3 cups)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
  • Fresh basil for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Rice the cauliflower by pulsing florets in a food processor until fine and rice-like.
  • Steam or microwave the cauliflower rice for 3-4 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
  • Place the cauliflower rice in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and shape it into a pizza crust.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy around the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the crust.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
