
Baked Creamy Cauliflower
A rich and creamy cauliflower dish, baked to perfection with a golden crust, making it a satisfying side or main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower cut into florets
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or plant-based cream
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Steam or blanch the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a pan, melt butter over medium heat, then sauté the garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the heavy cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the pan, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
- Place the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over it.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
