
Guacamole (Avocado Dip)
A classic Mexican dip, guacamole is a creamy blend of ripe avocados, fresh vegetables, and zesty lime juice, perfect for pairing with tortilla chips or as a condiment.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 small tomato diced
- 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 lime juiced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: 1 small jalapeño seeded and finely chopped
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth but slightly chunky.
- Stir in the diced tomato, onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and jalapeño (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more lime juice or salt if needed.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos and other dishes.
