  • 4 large eggs

  • Fresh herbs for garnish optional, such as parsley or chives

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour in the eggs and cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and cheese (if using) over one half of the omelette.
  • Flip the other half of the omelette over the filling and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
