Pistachio and Sugar Croissant

Flaky and buttery croissants filled with sweet pistachio cream, topped with sugar for a delightful crunch.

Ingredients
  

For the Croissants

  • 4 plain croissants
  • 1/4 cup pistachio paste
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

For the Topping

  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the croissants in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Spread a layer of pistachio paste inside each croissant.
  • Brush the tops of the croissants with melted butter. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and granulated sugar.
  • Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
