İskender Kebap is a classic Turkish dish featuring thinly sliced döner meat served over pita bread, topped with rich tomato sauce and melted butter, accompanied by a side of yogurt.

- 500 g thinly sliced lamb or beef döner
- 4 pita breads cubed
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp butter melted
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Toast the pita bread cubes in olive oil until golden and crispy. Set aside.
Heat the tomato sauce in a pan and keep it warm.
In a skillet, cook the döner meat slices until slightly crispy.
Arrange the toasted pita bread on a plate. Top with the döner slices and pour the warm tomato sauce over the meat. Drizzle with melted butter.
Serve hot with a side of yogurt and garnish with fresh parsley.
