Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Honey maple syrup, or whipped cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Add the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth.
  • Preheat your waffle iron and lightly coat it with non-stick spray. Pour the batter onto the iron and cook until golden brown.
  • Serve the warm waffles with honey, maple syrup, or whipped cream.
