Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices of day-old bread cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp paprika optional
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the bread cubes to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the seasoned oil mixture.
  • Spread the coated bread cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking tray.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Let the croutons cool completely before using or storing in an airtight container.
