Garlic and Herb Croutons

- 4 slices of day-old bread cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp paprika optional
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Add the bread cubes to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the seasoned oil mixture.
Spread the coated bread cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking tray.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Let the croutons cool completely before using or storing in an airtight container.
