Ingredients
  

  • 300 g beef or lamb cubed
  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas or canned, drained
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 medium tomatoes diced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups water or beef stock
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onions until soft. Add the meat and cook until browned.
  • Stir in the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and paprika. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Add the chickpeas and water or beef stock. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for about 40-50 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside rice or crusty bread.
