For the Crêpes:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
For the Orange Sauce:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 2 tbsp Grand Marnier or orange liqueur optional
In a mixing bowl, whisk flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, and salt until smooth. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour a small amount of batter, tilting the pan to spread it thinly. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar, orange juice, and zest, cooking until the sugar dissolves. Add Grand Marnier (if using) and cook for another minute.
Fold each crêpe into quarters and place them in the orange sauce. Heat gently, spooning the sauce over the crêpes to coat them.
Serve immediately, warm, and enjoy.
