- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1.25 cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large apple grated
- Honey or maple syrup and fresh apple slices for topping
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Fold in the grated apple and combine well.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the edges, then flip and cook until golden brown.
Place the pancakes on a serving plate, top with honey or maple syrup, and garnish with fresh apple slices.
