Ingredients
For the Chicken

olive oil

For the Mushroom Sauce

butter

mushrooms
sliced

garlic cloves
minced

heavy cream

cup
chicken broth

teaspoon
fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper
Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.
In the same skillet, add butter and sauté the mushrooms for 4-5 minutes.
Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Season with thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Return the chicken to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Serve warm.
