Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
  

  • 12 large mushrooms cleaned and stems removed
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese or dairy-free cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese or dairy-free mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese optional
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems carefully. Set the mushroom caps aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated mozzarella, Parmesan (if using), minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing down gently to fill them completely.
  • Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the mushrooms are tender.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
