Cheese and Olive Puff Pastry Sticks
Crispy and golden puff pastry sticks filled with cheese and olives, perfect for a quick savory snack.

- 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
- 50 g shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 30 g black or green olives finely chopped
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds optional, for garnish
- 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme optional, for flavor
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Sprinkle half of the cheese and chopped olives evenly over one half of the pastry sheet.
Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and gently press to seal.
Cut the pastry into 1.5 cm wide strips. Twist each strip gently to form a spiral.
Place the twisted sticks onto the prepared baking tray. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds and dried oregano, if desired.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Let cool slightly before serving.
