- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup walnuts finely ground
- 2 slices of stale bread soaked in water and squeezed
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- Salt to taste
Boil the chicken breasts in salted water until tender, about 25 minutes. Shred the chicken into fine pieces.
Blend the walnuts, soaked bread, and garlic into a smooth paste. Add chicken broth gradually until the mixture reaches a creamy consistency. Season with salt.
Mix the shredded chicken with the walnut sauce, ensuring it is evenly coated. Arrange the mixture on a serving plate.
Heat olive oil or butter in a small pan. Stir in paprika and drizzle over the chicken mixture.
Garnish with crushed walnuts and serve at room temperature or chilled as an appetizer.
