Caprese Sandwich with Balsamic Glaze
A light and flavorful sandwich made with mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze.

- 8 slices whole grain bread or ciabatta
- 200 g fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
- 2 large tomatoes sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 4 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
Lightly brush each bread slice with olive oil.
Place mozzarella slices on the bottom slices of bread.
Layer tomato slices on top of the mozzarella and season with salt and black pepper.
Add fresh basil leaves over the tomatoes.
Drizzle balsamic glaze over the ingredients.
Close the sandwiches with the top slices of bread and serve.
