Basil Chicken Roll

Chicken breasts stuffed with basil and cheese, rolled and baked to perfection with a crispy coating.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts pounded flat
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Lay the chicken breasts flat and evenly distribute the mozzarella, chopped basil leaves, and garlic on top.
  • Carefully roll up each chicken breast and secure with toothpicks.
  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat the chicken rolls with olive oil and then roll them in the breadcrumb mixture to cover completely.
  • Place the chicken rolls on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 25 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
