For the Barbecue Sauce

barbecue sauce

beef stock

honey or brown sugar

Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Rub the beef roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear the roast on all sides until golden brown.
Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F).
In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, beef stock, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the roast.
Cover the roast tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 hours, until the meat is tender.
Baste the roast with the sauce occasionally during cooking. Slice and serve warm with the sauce.
