Asian-Style Sesame Tofu Vegetable Stir-Fry
A light and flavorful dish made with sesame oil, fresh vegetables, and tofu.

- 300 g tofu cubed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 carrot thinly sliced
- 1 zucchini sliced into strips
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes optional
- For garnish: Sesame seeds and chopped green onions
Toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch and set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden and crispy on all sides, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining sesame oil. Sauté the garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
Add the carrots, red bell peppers, zucchini, and broccoli. Stir-fry the vegetables until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Pour the soy sauce, honey, and chili flakes over the vegetables and mix well.
Return the crispy tofu to the skillet and toss everything to coat evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.
