
Grilled Salmon with Lemon Sauce
A light and flavorful dish featuring perfectly grilled salmon with a zesty lemon sauce.
Ingredients
For the Salmon
- 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Lemon Sauce
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon honey optional
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and slightly charred. Remove and keep warm.
- In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to combine. Add honey if desired for a touch of sweetness.
- Pour the lemon sauce over the grilled salmon fillets and sprinkle with dried or fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately, accompanied by a side of steamed vegetables or rice.
