Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Lemon Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and slightly charred. Remove and keep warm.
  • In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to combine. Add honey if desired for a touch of sweetness.
  • Pour the lemon sauce over the grilled salmon fillets and sprinkle with dried or fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately, accompanied by a side of steamed vegetables or rice.
