
Slow-Cooked Beef Ribs
Tender, fall-off-the-bone beef ribs slow-cooked to perfection with rich and savory flavors.
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg beef ribs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar or red wine optional
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
Instructions
- Rub the beef ribs with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and smoked paprika.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and sear the ribs for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- In a slow cooker, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, beef stock, balsamic vinegar, and tomato paste. Stir to mix.
- Place the seared ribs on top of the mixture in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6 hours until the meat is tender and easily falls off the bone.
- Carefully remove the ribs and serve warm with the cooking juices.
