
Garlic Butter Chicken
Tender chicken pieces cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts sliced into strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain excess oil if needed and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in thyme and pour the sauce over the chicken. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
