
Egg and Avocado Toast
A healthy and filling breakfast option.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
- 2 ripe avocados
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Chopped greens or chili flakes for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and pit the avocados, then mash them into a puree with a fork.
- Spread the avocado puree evenly over the bread slices.
- Cook the eggs to your liking in a pan (sunny-side-up, scrambled, or poached).
- Place the eggs on top of the avocado toast and season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with greens or chili flakes if desired, and serve.
