Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped greens or chili flakes for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Peel and pit the avocados, then mash them into a puree with a fork.
  • Spread the avocado puree evenly over the bread slices.
  • Cook the eggs to your liking in a pan (sunny-side-up, scrambled, or poached).
  • Place the eggs on top of the avocado toast and season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with greens or chili flakes if desired, and serve.
