Cheese and Tomato Mini Pizzas

Ingredients
  

  • 4 small pizza bases or pita bread
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or dairy-free cheese
  • 2 large tomatoes sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Place the mini pizza bases or pita bread on a baking sheet.
  • Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on each pizza base.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  • Arrange the tomato slices on top of the cheese, and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
