A creamy and rich chocolate mousse made without sugar, using avocado and cocoa for a healthier alternative.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp almond milk or coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional, for sweetness
- Fresh berries for topping optional
Instructions
- Scoop the flesh of the avocados into a blender or food processor.
- Add the cocoa powder, almond milk, vanilla extract, and honey or maple syrup (if using).
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Spoon the mousse into small bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Top with fresh berries before serving, if desired.
