Ingredients
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder optional
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add rice and sauté until golden and slightly toasted.
