Ingredients
  

For the Paneer Tikka:

  • 200 g paneer cubed
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp oil

For the Masala Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste

For Garnish:

  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • Swirl of cream

Instructions
 

Prepare Paneer Tikka:

  • Marinate paneer cubes with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and oil. Let it rest for 15 minutes. Grill or pan-fry the marinated paneer cubes until golden and slightly charred. Set aside.

Make the Masala Sauce:

  • Heat butter in a pan and sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until soft and fragrant. Add tomato puree, chili powder, cumin, and coriander powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in cream and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add the grilled paneer cubes and mix gently to coat them in the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with cilantro and a swirl of cream. Serve hot with naan or rice.
