
Salade Niçoise (Niçoise Salad)
A classic French salad from Nice, Salade Niçoise combines fresh vegetables, tuna, and eggs for a light yet satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 200 g canned tuna drained
- 4 hard-boiled eggs halved
- 2 cups cooked green beans
- 2 medium potatoes boiled and sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1/2 cup black olives
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Arrange the mixed greens on a large serving platter.
- Top with tuna, green beans, potatoes, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and halved eggs.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving.
