
Cheese Menemen Recipe
A beloved Turkish breakfast dish with cheese, tomatoes, and peppers.
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tomatoes (diced)
- 1 green pepper (finely chopped)
- 100 g feta or cheddar cheese (crumbled or shredded)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan, add peppers, and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the eggs and stir to cook.
- Add cheese, season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Serve warm.
