
Tavuklu Pilav (Chicken with Rice)

Ingredients
- 2 cups long-grain rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 chicken breasts cooked and shredded
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a large pot, melt the butter with vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the rice and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and mix in the shredded chicken. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
