Ingredients
  

  • 1 ready-made pie crust
  • 150 g bacon diced
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère or Swiss cheese
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the pie crust in a tart pan and blind bake for 10 minutes.
  • In a pan, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the cooked bacon evenly over the baked crust. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese, ensuring even distribution.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the filling is set and the top is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before slicing.
