
Olive and Cheese Lettuce Wraps
Fresh and crunchy lettuce leaves filled with a flavorful mixture of olives, cheese, and herbs, making for a light and healthy snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 8 large lettuce leaves such as Romaine or Butterhead
- 1/2 cup olives pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup cheese feta, goat cheese, or mozzarella, crumbled or chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish optional, such as parsley or basil
Instructions
- Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, making sure they are large enough to hold the filling.
- In a small bowl, mix the chopped olives, cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the olive and cheese mixture onto each lettuce leaf.
- Carefully fold the edges of the lettuce over the filling and roll up the leaves like a wrap.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
