
Cheese and Herb Baked Omelette
A fluffy and savory baked omelette filled with cheese and fresh herbs, perfect for a light meal or breakfast.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk dairy or plant-based
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs such as parsley, chives, or thyme, chopped
- 1/2 small onion chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed onion and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle the cheese and fresh herbs over the top of the omelette.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the omelette is golden and fully set.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
