Ingredients
  

  • 250 g halloumi cheese cut into sticks
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs use gluten-free if needed
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional
  • Dipping sauce optional, such as yogurt or sweet chili sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  • Dip each halloumi stick into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat all sides evenly.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the halloumi sticks and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy.
  • Remove the cheese sticks from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
