Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk or any plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Fresh berries or chopped nuts for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, combine the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if necessary and blend again.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa powder if needed.
  • Transfer the mousse to serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and set.
  • Garnish with fresh berries or chopped nuts before serving, if desired.
