Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados peeled and pitted
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut milk or any plant-based milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Fresh berries or chopped nuts for garnish optional
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if necessary and blend again.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa powder if needed.
- Transfer the mousse to serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and set.
- Garnish with fresh berries or chopped nuts before serving, if desired.
