
Pistachio and Sugar Croissant
Flaky and buttery croissants filled with sweet pistachio cream, topped with sugar for a delightful crunch.
Ingredients
For the Croissants
- 4 plain croissants
- 1/4 cup pistachio paste
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
For the Topping
- 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the croissants in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Spread a layer of pistachio paste inside each croissant.
- Brush the tops of the croissants with melted butter. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and granulated sugar.
- Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
