
Oven-Baked BBQ Chicken
Juicy chicken pieces baked in the oven with a flavorful barbecue sauce glaze.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks or thighs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Barbecue Sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Instructions
- Rub the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drizzle with olive oil and mix well.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange the chicken on a baking tray.
- Bake the chicken for 25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the barbecue sauce by mixing barbecue sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and mustard in a bowl.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and brush with the barbecue sauce.
- Return the chicken to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes until caramelized.
- Serve warm.
