
Oven-Baked Lemon Chicken Filet
A light and flavorful dish made with chicken fillets marinated in a lemon sauce and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 lemons 1 sliced, 1 juiced
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon honey optional
Instructions
- Place the chicken fillets in a bowl and marinate with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and optional honey. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Arrange the chicken fillets on a baking tray and top with lemon slices.
- Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve warm with rice or salad.
