
Chicken Alfredo Pasta
A creamy Alfredo pasta dish combined with tender chicken strips for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 300 g fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts sliced into strips
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Alfredo Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg optional
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute.
- Add the heavy cream, stirring gently, and cook for 2-3 minutes without boiling.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper until the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce, tossing to combine.
- Serve warm with extra Parmesan on top.
