Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts sliced into strips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg optional
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add the heavy cream, stirring gently, and cook for 2-3 minutes without boiling.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper until the sauce is smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce, tossing to combine.
  • Serve warm with extra Parmesan on top.
