
Basil Chicken Roll
Chicken breasts stuffed with basil and cheese, rolled and baked to perfection with a crispy coating.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts pounded flat
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Lay the chicken breasts flat and evenly distribute the mozzarella, chopped basil leaves, and garlic on top.
- Carefully roll up each chicken breast and secure with toothpicks.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the chicken rolls with olive oil and then roll them in the breadcrumb mixture to cover completely.
- Place the chicken rolls on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 25 minutes.
- Serve hot.
