
Mustard Sauce Chicken Thighs
Juicy chicken thighs seared and coated in a rich mustard sauce for a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs boneless, skin-on
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- For the Mustard Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Rub the chicken thighs with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the chicken thighs skin-side down. Cook for 6-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix all the mustard sauce ingredients.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and pour the mustard sauce over it, ensuring the chicken is fully coated.
- Heat the remaining sauce in the skillet to thicken and drizzle over the chicken before serving.
- Serve with rice or fresh vegetables.
