
Oven-Roasted Spiced Turkey Drumsticks
Juicy turkey drumsticks marinated with spices and slow-roasted for crispy skin and tender meat.
Ingredients
- 4 turkey drumsticks
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 lemon sliced, optional
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Wash and pat dry the turkey drumsticks with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil with spices (paprika, garlic powder, thyme, cumin, black pepper, and salt).
- Coat the turkey drumsticks thoroughly with the spice mixture.
- Place the drumsticks on a baking tray and add the lemon slices and crushed garlic around them.
- Cover with aluminum foil and roast for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and roast for another 30 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden.
- Serve hot.
