
Caprese Sandwich with Balsamic Glaze
A light and flavorful sandwich made with mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze.
Ingredients
- 8 slices whole grain bread or ciabatta
- 200 g fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
- 2 large tomatoes sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 4 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Lightly brush each bread slice with olive oil.
- Place mozzarella slices on the bottom slices of bread.
- Layer tomato slices on top of the mozzarella and season with salt and black pepper.
- Add fresh basil leaves over the tomatoes.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the ingredients.
- Close the sandwiches with the top slices of bread and serve.
