
Avocado & Turkey Club Sandwich
A hearty sandwich made with avocado, turkey slices, vegetables, and whole grain bread.
Ingredients
- 8 slices whole grain bread
- 200 g sliced turkey breast
- 1 large avocado
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 medium tomatoes thinly sliced
- 4 slices low-fat white cheese or mozzarella
- 4 teaspoons light mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Mash the avocado and mix it with lemon juice, adding a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Lightly toast the bread slices.
- Spread one teaspoon of light mayonnaise on each slice of bread.
- For the first layer, add a lettuce leaf, avocado spread, turkey slices, and cheese onto a slice of bread.
- Place another slice of bread on top and repeat the layering.
- Finish with tomato slices and top with the last slice of bread.
- Cut the sandwiches diagonally and secure with a toothpick before serving.
